Assemble & Weld

      I assemble all the southwest cufflink components by welding the discs, rings, connectors and bars together. Each handmade component is aligned and joined for a tight fit; then welded with silver braze.
       I use oxygen and acetylene gasses to achieve the right welding/braze temperature. I center my torch flame directly on the joint to be welded and apply the braze.
       My keen eye and steady hand, just like the keen eye and steady hand of Southwest Sheriffs which kept outlaws at bay, put the pieces together.
