Southwest Texture
For the finish the assembled cufflinks are dipped in an acid pickle solution to remove oxidation. Then I neutralize them in water. I highlight the patterns with a silver oxidizer; this gives definition to the designs. Using water from the Rio Grande and New Mexico Adobe, and a tumbling process, I create a unique southwest texture which completes the handcrafing process.
I call this rough and vibrant cleansing the "Rio Grande Wash."
This gives my classic handmade cufflinks a natural windblown, saddle-worn, antique look.
Then I package each set individually, carefully place it in a box and ship your cufflinks to you within 24 hours of ordering.
